Magnus Berg

Magnus was recruited as a partner of Nordic Law in 2007, when he moved from one of the larger law firms in Malmö. He has over 15 years experience of working with complex qualified legal environmental matters, and is today one of Swedens most sought after practitioners in water rights and environmental law.

In addition to experience gained through his choice of profession, he has gained experience from environmental law and water rights through service at the County Administrative Board and Environmental Court. He assists municipalities, companies and national agencies in all matter of environmental issues. In recent years he has been involved in infrastructural projects as well as projects in the energy sector, such as licenses for geothermic premises and wind power projects. In all projects he is involved with, he works closely with some of the best technical consultants in the business.

He really enjoys travelling, and it helps that his wife works in the travel industry. He takes an active interest in his local Rotary chapter, is an excellent cook and reads a large amount of literature, which often leads to well balanced book recommendations to both colleagues and clients.
