History
B-G Nilson laid the foundations to Nordic Law 1983, by forming the then-called Juristkammaren, on the initiative of Västsvenska Industri- och Handelskammaren ( West Sweden Chamber of Industry and Commerce) that lacked a legal division. A few years later, the firm moved out of the Chamber of Commerce's premises and B-G Nilsson once again joined the Swedish Bar Association, which he had left during the 1960's when he was a part of the law firm Vinge. The name of the firm was changed to Nordic Law during the 1990's, when the firm took part in a starting association with several other law firms.
Since day one, the primary legal field of Nordic Law's focus has been corporate legal issues, preferably with international ties. We have assisted many international companies in their European and Swedish ventures. We have traditionally established long-term relationships with our clients, and we are pleased to say that many of our current clients were recruited by B-G Nilsson almost 25 years ago. In most cases, apart from providing legal advice, we have also introduced clients to our network, which has allowed us to follow our clients' progress on many different levels.
The collaboration with Handelskammaren has continued with ongoing advice and training for its members and through various joint events.
